Are there any regulations on the disposal of found dead non-regulated wildlife in Illinois.

Most species of wildlife in Illinois are protected by the Illinois Wildlife Code. Most of the birds are also protected by the federal Migratory Bird Treaty Act. Is there a particular species you are interested in? Depending on the species, burying the carcass or disposal to trash (double bagged) is sometimes recommended if the animal is in an area where it cannot be left where it is due to public health concerns.
