Injured Wild Bunny

I found a mature wild bunny on the street in front of my house last night. He appears to have an injured front leg, but no bleeding and looks healthy otherwise. I brought him in and have kept him warm. I tried to give him some water and grass, but he didn't seem interested. He did propel himself out of the bunny space I made for him, but has to push himself with his back legs so that his body is on the ground when he moves. Is there anyone who could help him without putting him down ? Thank you.

If it is an injury to just one leg the rabbit may be able to be cared for by a licensed wildlife rehabilitator. If it can't move either front leg, that is a much more serious condition and it may have to be euthanized. There are two licensed wildlife rehabbers in Tazewell Co. You can find their contact information at: http://web.extension.illinois.edu/wildlife/professionals.cfm
