My son and I were out metal detecing in our back yard and we made our way into the field behind our land. We came across a strange foot print/track. It is about 4-5" long and about 2" or so wide.
We looked at all of the Virginia tracks listed and it looks NOTHING like any of them. I know we have some black bear here, Coyotes, Possums etc. but this (honestly) looked kind of human like with to very visable claws at the front.
Judging by the tracks it was the left foot of somthing with one of the two claws being all the way to this inside of the left foot/paw...we do have some photos and have a shovel next to it for some sizing.
