While recently hunting in Marion county I saw an unlikely sight. I hunt coyotes slot by calling. I am an avid outdoorsman. The posture which this animal had along with his distinct long trailing, leads me to believe this could have been a wolf... He color was darker not really critical,his tail was carried more straight out than down. He kept his nosee to the ground I know for almost 300 yrds. Every coyote I have ever seen trailing anything his head is up every 25-50 yrds. Any way that is what I observed.
