is southern illinois and or the state parks or shawnee forest be enough habitat for wolves, black bears, and elk to live. because in the http://www.inhs.uiuc.edu/releases/Buhnerkempe_OutdoorIL_1007.pdf lik it says " Southern Illinois has ample habitat for bears, including more than 278,500 acres of national forest." is central illinois also good habitat. So it is possible to reintroduce the animals i listed back to illinois

Yes, there is enough habitat in southern Illinois to support these species. Central Illinois does not have enough quality habitat remaining to support populations of wolves or bears. There are no plans to reintroduce wolves, black bears, or elk into Illinois. However, there have been documented cases of single animals (wolves and bear) moving through Illinois.
