During torential rains last nite we noticed water in the basement and then found this animal prowling around. Could it have come up through a drain pipe. After googling the description " beaver with a rat like tail" The nutria is by far the closest thing to it. In attempt to get it out, we killed it. But want to make sure there are not others.
