There is a very small newborn raccoon in my yard. I saw the mother near the same spot yesterday morning, and noticed the baby laying in the grass later that afternoon. The mother walked away into the woods. The baby seems very weak - it's eyes are not open. I waited to see if the mother would come back, and she hasn't. I checked the baby this morning, and it is still alive, but barely moving. Should I let nature take it's course here? My heart is breaking for this little one!

Is the raccoon still there?
