I have a small baby rabbit and it has been orphaned. What do I do to keep it alive? What does it need to eat? Does it need to burrow down into something?

How small is small? If its eyes are open, and it is about the size of baby food jar, and it is hopping around, then you can just let it go. It's ready to be on its own. If its eyes are not yet open, it needs to go to a wildlife rehabber. Baby rabbits are really hard to keep alive unless you've had training. You can find rehabbers at: http://web.extension.illinois.edu/wildlife/professionals.cfm#rehab There isn't a licensed rehabber in Montgomery County, but there are a couple in surrounding counties.
