Our dog found two bunnies alive and well, we are guessing they are three weeks old. We don't know if the mother will come back for them and we dont want the dogs to find them again (our backyard is fenced in by a river). We bought kitten milk powder formula to try to feed them from a bottle but are not sure if that is going to work. It is only their first day with us--they are in a bunny carrier.

Did the dog find them in a nest or just running around in the yard? If their eyes are open and they are actively moving around, they should be released back into the yard. If they do not yet have their eyes open or if they seem weak and not moving much, they should be sent to a licensed wildlife rehabilitator for care.
