i was in the park yesterday and witnessed a mallard duck going in backward circles, unable to stop. The maintenance guy was keeping check on her and said she was going to be given to a duck rehabber , Is that a temporary problem or permanent ? the guy said she had been attacked by something because wings on both sides were severed. I just wondered if it was going to make it or if they would euthanize it. thanks!

Sounds like neurological damage as well. Hopefully they were able to capture her and euthanize her to put her out of her suffering.
