injured goose in my yard

I have a goose in my backyard with a injured wing. It has been there for about 14 hours. My yard is fenced in and I have a dog. I called Animal Control and the local police and they will not come out. I'm not sure what to do. I can't afford to pay to have it removed. What other options do I have/
