where r the rabbits?

Wondering why I've seen few rabbits in rural Tazewell County between Morton and Washington Illinois in last few years. Wise to try to reintroduce a some young this spring (If I can locate some)???

Sandy, The fox or coyote population might be up. Or maybe the habitat has changed in some way that reduces the amount of food or cover for the rabbits. I usually get questions about how to reduce the number of rabbits. : ) No need to relocate any rabbits to that area (it's illegal to do so without a permit anyway). I'm sure the rabbit population will rebound naturally.
