Any help available to determine source of racoon problem in my yard. the removal service is very good at trapping-6 racoons at $55 each. Hoever, I cant get any help from IDNR/DuPage county or the village. I want to determine what the issue is and get some sort of inspection or suppositions. We are on a fixed income and we have recently had major surgeries. I have thousands of dollars in medical bills and the only resolution the Wildlife control experts can come up with is to enclose the deck at a cost of over $3000. We have not had an issue in the twenty years we have been here. Hope you can help.

In order to have raccoons on your property, there must be food, water, and shelter on the property or nearby. Since raccoons are generalists, they do pretty well for themselves in towns. Are the raccoons causing damage on your property and/or getting into the house/garage or out buildings? If you can give me details about what you are dealing with, I'll be better able to give you advice on solutions to try.
