All weekend we have seen three red fox kits, their mother and father north of our land ( 1 block) in a ditch cluvert. We live in the country 5 miles from town. Now there are only 2 kits and no sign of a parent. We got rain last night and today. Could these kits be abandoned? We have not seen an adult with the den all day. Could the mother have taken one off and abandoned the other 2.
