Our yard is home to a mother rabbit and her three babies. We have not mowed to keep from killing them; however, our yard needs mowing badly! What is the best time of day to mow? Is there a time when they are all together in one place. Our grass is now so high they are hid well. I looked around and can only find one's grassy hiding place. Thanks!

Are the young still in the nest or are they out and about in the yard? If they are already out in the yard you are safe to cut the grass. The sound of the mower will scare them away. They'll probably come back after the mowing is finished.
