I have recently spotted foxes walking through our suburban neighborhood. Then two weeks ago, discovered that we have a den under our shed and another under our deck in our fenced in yard. We are certain that we have a mother and three kits, however, have been seeing another adult fox come and go. (I'm not sure that it is the father as it is smaller than the mother). The foxes really haven't been a problem other than leaving half eaten rabbits and mice in the yard. They stick to a schedule and it is easy to predict when they will be out in the yard (early morning and at sunset). Should I be concerned that they have recently come out of the den and into the yard while we are sitting out on the deck? They do not approach us, just stare and walk away. I would rather let them stay and move on if indeed that will eventually happen. With summer quickly approaching, we will be spending a lot of time in the backyard. In addition, I do have two children, ages 8 and 11 that play in the yard. Also, we have an above ground pool that will be open in a few weeks. Would foxes get into the pool?
