We definitely have an over population of squirrels and rabbits in a urban setting. Cats don't seem to bother even chasing the rabbits. I have a wildlife biologist degree and have never seen this many squirrels or rabbits. Today two squirrels were found dead in my driveway with massive nose bleeds. I am concerned that this may be an epidemic.

Have you been in contact with your local wildlife biologist? http://www.agfc.com/contactagfc/Pages/default.aspx
