A friend of mine has a pair of geese that come to her pond every year to have there babies. This year somehow one of them got injured, it looks like the wing is broken. Well, the babies and mate have all left and it is by it's self. Is there anyone we can call to come rescue it and fix the wing ?

Is the goose still there?

Yes, it is still there. It's mate showed up last week, but it will probably leave again soon. It tries to fly, but the wing is completely useless.

There are very few wildlife rehabilitators who can care for birds. And catching the goose, even if its wing is broken, would be very difficult. The goose will just have to try and survive the winter. If it does, its family will come back to it next spring.

The goose is still alive. My friends bought something to put in the pond so it would stay thawed a little, so the goose would have a place to feel secure.
