We have a tree that needs to come down and I spotted a mama squirrels moving babies into it from another nest. How long do I have to wait to have the tree removed? The nest is a leaf nest....Thanks

Tree squirrels are usually weaned around eight weeks of age. To be on the safe side, since I'm not sure how old the young are, I'd give them until early November. But watch the tree, if you don't see a lot of activity, they may have already left. And it would be better to get the tree down sooner than later. That way they have time to find a new place to build winter nests.
