When we first relocated to Wadsworth/Beach Park 7 years ago in April we saw very tall, large birds walking across our back yard like a row of soldiers. They were kind of ugly with wrinkled skin. The largest, tallest birds we've ever seen in person. Not a lot of feathers. It was such a strange sight, and we have no clue what species they were. They were a neutral color.
