We have had a hawk in our subdivision for years, I have outdoor cats, is the hawk any threat to my cats as long as squirrels, and other smaller animals are around?

The hawk will have plenty of other things to eat. It shouldn't bother your cats.

It would be unusual for a hawk to bother with a cat. I'd keep an eye on small kittens. But hawks, depending on the species, are going to go after mice, voles, squirrels, or birds.
