Tree squirrel getting trap and realese

My apartment complex are trapping tree squirrels due to being a nuisances. Is there a permit to doing this? Also if they don't have a permit who do I contact? An is there certain seasons that this is allowed? an what are the penalties for trapping and realasing with out a permit thank you for reading this any advice will be grateful.

I am not familiar with the wildlife laws in Florida, so I do not know if a permit is needed to trap nuisance tree squirrels.
