Behind my home right on the woodline of 230 something acres I found animal droppings which looks to be of a small dog. I have a Siberian Husky which is on an electronic collar and cannot reach this spot up to about 20 feet and her droppings are about twice the three times bigger. I have seen no other dog or animal around. This would not be a problem is just one dropping but it is an accumulation of droppings around an oak tree, piles and piles right up on the base of the tree. a pile as fresh as last night to one as old as turning white, looks to be at least a month or two of it. could this be coyotes? No nest or anything in the tree. in the past I have had problems groundhogs. can you shed some light on my dunghill tonight?

Can you send me some photos? Be sure to put a ruler or quarters in the shots so that I can tell the size of the scat. Thank you. Photos can be e-mailed to me at lkammin@illinois.edu
