We have noticed a duck nest in our flower bed. There were 13 eggs and 3 hatched. The mother was very good at sitting on her nest for a few weeks, but the day the 3 hatched, she left the nest and hasn't returned. Its been 2 days and even though we live in Fl. and the weather is nice, there are 10 eggs unattended. Will she return????Do I need to call the wildlife office???? Help!!!!!

No, once the eggs hatch (even if only some of them hatch) the hen takes the ducklings to water. They don't come back to the nest.
