For the last couple of months a fox has been stealing from the garbage can at night. I have two dogs and it has threatened both of them, but recently I have been seeing two in a pair during the dusk hours and they act as tho they are going to attack you. What should I do?

Give them their space. Sounds like they are protecting a den site and their young. If you give them their space, you and the dogs shouldn't have any problems from the foxes. Strapping the lid on the garbage can might help keep them out of it. Foxes can be pretty messy.
