Hello! 26 days ago ( Easter Sunday ), we discovered eggs in an Oak tree nest by our pond created by a Mallard hen. Ethel ( her name ) has been very diligent in sitting on her nest, and is used to us throwing food for her & the other Mallards when she has left it to feed. We are concerned as we haven't seen her on the nest for about two days now ( we set up a security camera in order to watch her from afar ), all of the ducks are familiar with us & our presence ( even our two dogs are trained not to bother them and they are not afraid of them )...please, how do we know if she has abandoned her nest??? It has been in the 90's here the past few days, but before this the weather was very cold & rainy, and she was on the nest.....I hope you can help us! Thank You!!!

Did the eggs hatch or are they still there?
