We have been seeing a lot of weird things squirrels and rabbits and birds that look sick looking have spots on them and u can drive by them walk up to them and they don't move then shortly after some would just die. One lady said a bird was on her porch and she walked by it it didn't move and she shook the flower pot it was on and still didn't move. What's going on? Seen many squirrel dead on side of road and they have not been hit, some was in areas were no high traffic went threw

When you say they look sick and have spots on them, can you describe their appearance a little more? Do they have patches of fur missing? Or skin around the head and neck that looks gray, crusty, and wrinkled? Or do they have scabs or open wounds? What do the spots look like? Or do they simply not move around much? Can you get close enough to see whether their eyes are clear and bright, or do they look watery or crusty? Any chance you can send some photos?
