this morning I took a fuzzy video with my phone of a mammal that seemed to graze on the berm behind my pond. The animal was larger than a woodchuck; with a tail that seemed almost bobbed. It's fur was mottled, short ears, longish snout, hind quarters higher than front. I posted on facebook where friends suggested badger, anteater or spineless porcupine :) thoughts? I saw the animal a couple evenings ago . . . when it scrambled up the side of the road seemed mottled and pudgy even at night.
