starling removal

I have starlings that pecked a hole in rough cedar siding, making a nest in my wall. Made an exclusion trap & they've left, only now to come back trying to peck another hole in the siding. How do I stop them from making another hole?

You may need to temporarily tack up some netting to keep them from the siding. If they are deterred from reaching the siding they will give up and look elsewhere. Also check to make sure the siding is in good repair. Any deteriorating sections should be replaced.
