Baby dove fell out of nest

2 days ago our ash tree was cut down and unfortunately a dove's nest was in it. The city worker put it in a different tree but the 2 birds fell out. One died and the other one looks pretty ragged, but alive. We did see the mama dove sitting next to it yesterday, but haven't seen her in a while. Is there anything we should do or just leave it alone?

If the nest got knocked out it doesn't have much of a shot. If the adults are around, they may be feeding it. But it will be very vulnerable to predators and the weather on the ground. Is the dove still alive? If so, does it have feathers? Are the eyes open? Does it appear alert or does it just lay there?
