Hi, i m concerned that i have seen at least 4 dead sparrow on my way near I-55 Romeoville area and 1 bird on the road fighting for it's life it was jumping, fliping as though gasping for air or so.. is this behaviour normal or somyhing going on ..just wanna make sure..who should be notified for such a situation.

There are several possibilities. First, there may have been a small flock that flew in front of traffic and didn't make it to the other side. Another possibility is that the birds were sick or possible got into some poison bait. Without testing the birds it is impossible to know for sure what happened. Unless it was a large number of birds, there isn't anyone that needs to be notified.
