I have noticed in the last few days 4 dead squirrels in my neighbors back parking area underneath their tree in the alley. They appeared healthy-looking. I think two have been cleaned up, and one has since been ran over, but it's all under the same tree and I'm concerned someone is poisoning them. Since I have a dog and so do my neighbors I'd like to know if there is cause for concern.

It is possible that someone is poisoning them, or maybe they got into something in someone's garbage. It's hard to know the cause unless the animals are tested. To be safe, keep pets away from the squirrels. Any remaining squirrels can be picked up and disposed of in the garbage (double plastic bag).
